On December 30th, 2018, a unique opportunity arose as this iconic store was nearing its final days. Joined by my friend Harold, we wandered through the expansive store, documenting the poignant decline of this institution. These photographs, showcased in my gallery ‘Figures of Fashion: A Store’s Last Days,’ pay tribute to the mannequins that once adorned the store’s windows, frozen in graceful poses that evoke the timeless elegance and style that were synonymous with this legendary establishment.
